The Role of Chronic Insulin Resistance in Prostate Cancer Progression

I may ruffle a few feathers when I say this, but prostate cancer isn’t just “genetics,” or whatever oversimplified story mainstream medicine likes to toss at men. There’s a metabolic storm occurring underneath the surface, and insulin resistance is sitting right in the middle of it. The prostate is deeply sensitive to hormonal and metabolic dysfunction, and when blood sugar regulation is off, inflammation and tumor growth shift into high gear.
